"For many, many years, I dreaded the months of winter in the mountains. I hated the dark, the wet, the cold. But now, I have learned to appreciate each season, each change I witness in nature." Yay, I'm so glad! I totally get why people struggle with certain seasons for various reasons (I personally struggle with arid landscapes and extreme heat) - but in every climate and condition, there is so much beauty and wonder to experience, when we can manage it :)
Definitely agree Sydney, it's totally understandable that we struggle with certain conditions for whatever reason it may be. I would struggle in extreme heat also, it's not something I'm used to living in the mountains. Winter was a struggle because of mindset more than anything, so I'm glad I've been able to make the shift to enjoy it more - it does take up many months of the year here, so I needed the open up to the beauty of it. ;)
Beautiful images! You have a great eye and an amazing control of light!
Thank you Rachel! 🥰😊
Lovely!
Thank you so much! ♡

Seeing the change of the green to the snowy white is so impressive in photos - can’t imagine how magical it must be to experience in real life! 🥰
It was so lovely to immerse myself in the transition from green to white, and a lot of fun to capture it too. ♡
The quiet that comes with snowfall is one of my favorite things.
It is something truly special - I love that muffled quiet with all my heart.
What a stunning place you live in. I'm glad there was some snow for you, but you're right, there's definetely less this year.
It seems to be one of those winters for many places. 🤍🤍
A beautiful record of slow living!
