I love what you wrote about the lingering experience, even days after the "actual" experience! This is what I feel when I immerse or bathe myself in your beautiful words and images.

On this particular experience, it is the mushrooms, which feel like little Disney characters popping up to give off their delicious flavor in the forest. It's such a magical play. Thank you, Whitney!

Wow beautiful photographs. I love the idea of the 'embrace of the forest'. Always such beautiful light in the forest.

I wrote a note about my recent work basically saying how if you take the time to notice the small details and capture it how the feeling and memory stays with you so much more than if you had just done the walk.

These posts bring joy to see a landscape that is rich and magnificent and very different than my location in Florida

I used to live in Soithern California and spent every spring and summer - and sometimes fall camping in the redwoods and north. These posts bring it all back
