Your photography touches me, Whitney. I really love the way you you show the rich, yet subtle palette of the forest right now. Have you heard of the ancient Japanese concept of 72 seasons? These micro-seasons are each last for just 5 days. They're named according to small changes happening in the natural world.🌿
"The seasons are fascinating to watch; not only the obvious changes from summer to autumn to winter, but the subtle shifts within a season such as early autumn to late." Beautiful collection of images with a muted, moody color palette. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I do really like the dramatically deep-green ferns. Thanks for sharing your walk with us!
Gorgeous photographs that really show this wonderful time of year, so much colour. I enjoy the first frost and how it tingles your hands, it feels good. Thanks again for a lovely read 👍👍🍂🍁
Beautiful as always. Here we are still very much in the colourful golds and reds part of autumn, which is lovely, but I also really like the more muted 'resting' tones of deeper winter when they arrive.
