I recently learned that a naturally occurring deep breath is a sign that your nervous system is settling. That's what happened when I started reading this article, a lovely deep breath. Thank you :-)
rare to see such untouched beauty.. Did i miss where you said it was? reminds me of Quebec, where i lived on a lake, and the snow would get swept up like these incredible views of nature. Thank yo for sharing them
Snow changes the world overnight in more ways than one. The sounds carry differently, so do the smells. It feels so serene. To me, waking up to a snow covered world is one of life’s pleasures. Sadly, I haven’t seen snow in several years. I need to plan a trip!
Thank you for a glimpse into a landscape I had forgotten. I moved to California nearly 50 years ago, and since then have only seen snow once or twice. The beauty and peace you discovered and shared returned me to quiet, magical childhood moments.
The snow looks like meringue topping, which frosts delicious desserts. Meringue was my focus as I explored each photo and this image of "whipped and frothy" created a sea of meringue on top of the dessert below. It was really magical and opened up quite the imaginative stepping stones. Beautiful Whitney.
Lovely photos, lovely memories for me growing up in Vermont as it used to be. I can even smell the new snow and feel it as I push through it.
Reading the sign of the squirrel with the one way track. Sad for the squirrel to lose its life on a beautiful day, but happy the owl can survive another day.
The sparkling snow is divine.. so thankful for all the photos <3 Looking forward to seeing more of your photos as you wander in the forest in 2025. Keep enjoying the magic of nature and sharing it with so many.
Wow so magical. I can just imagine how exciting it was! I love the second photo.
Childhood dreams of such a winter wonderland. 😊
Thank you Hayley. ♡♡♡
So, so pretty and peaceful! I can hear the quiet. 💚

I'm in British Columbia. I imagine Quebec has some really beautiful snowy scenes as well! ♡

It sounds like you do! Hopefully, you can enjoy that wonderful experience of snow again. ♡
Really beautiful images. The photo 11th photo with the sliver of golden light and the small mound of powdery snow on the right is stunning.
There is something magical about being the first to make tracks in snow. It's hard for me to put into words other than: magical. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, Neil. I think magical sums it up quite perfectly. ♡♡♡

Funny you mention meringue as I just made a lemon meringue pie for Christmas dessert! Love the analogy there, Tami. ♡♡♡
