I could sense the stillness in your words and photos, like the fog is necessary to help us remain still. As you mentioned, the scene doesn't last long. It's as if the quietness beckons us to remain ever so present and remain dutiful to it. Such beauty in the fog, and such a profound metaphor. Thanks so much, Whitney.

I like this kind of fog. It evokes such a mood. I live in a high up community overlooking a bowl with a lower community and often in the mornings this dense type of fog sits in the bowl below me. It's a neat view.
