Oh my, it's always such a beautiful walk with you. I love your reference to leaves as rain catchers on the forest floor, it's such an intimate, connecting sound.being heard. I believe it's the forest where we get to experience the interconnectedness of all nature. These photos remind me of Thoreau's poem: I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately.
