Tucked away, in a secluded bay, I sat for a while to enjoy one of the season's first snowfalls. A day that started quiet grey and dim, had the sun shining through the thin cloud for a special moment, while tiny sparkling snowflakes flew through the air.
Unfortunately, this upcoming week is bringing with it significant rainfall, so all this lovely dusting of snow will soon turn into a mess of slush. I’m glad I got out for a morning to catch it before that happens.
The first few snows are always a delight to head out in; the forest remains accessible and sprigs of green still poke out beneath their fluffy hats.
A short excursion this was, and a short post here today because of it, but I hope you enjoyed a little peek at the snow all the same.
