A Year in the Forest; Looking Back, Part One
revisiting a few favourites from January through March of 2023
Hello my friends, forgive my absence last week. We are in that time of year, like every year, when my photography hits the snooze button for a little while. I’ve come to accept this period as a time to reset, to dream up new ideas, and to enjoy a little look back into the year past.
I thought I’d share my visit through last year’s wanders with you. So here we are; with some favourite captures from January through March of last year.
We truly did have some dreamy misty days last year, thick and ethereal, it obscured the forest and made me feel like I had entered a mysterious land.
We also had a more typical snowpack in the earlier days of winter last year; the mountains were exquisitely dusted with white.
Branches were weighed down with fluffy flakes and icy droplets.
And when the sun did come out, it was truly spectacular to behold.
Next week, we’ll take a little peek back through spring — I’m ready to revisit a little bit of green, aren’t you?
See you then,
♡ Whitney
